Enneagram Types

The Enneagram system identifies nine core personality types by uncovering the fundamental motivations, fears, and desires that underlie human behavior. Each type has a unique perspective on the world, a distinct focus of attention, and a particular direction of energy. Rather than putting individuals into boxes, these types serve as a guide on a journey toward deeper understanding of oneself and others.

Enneagram Types

The Enneagram system defines nine core personality types by uncovering the underlying motivations, fears, and desires behind human behavior. Each type has its own unique worldview, focus of attention, and direction of energy. Rather than putting individuals into boxes, these types serve as a guide on the journey toward deeper self-understanding and understanding of others.

As the International Association for Academic Enneagram Studies, we examine each Enneagram type through psychometric, phenomenological, and experimental methods. Our goal is to support the neurobiological correlations, developmental trajectories, and cultural expressions of these types with scientific findings.
