Enneagram Types<\/h1>

The Enneagram system identifies nine core personality types by uncovering the fundamental motivations, fears, and desires that underlie human behavior. Each type has a unique perspective on the world, a distinct focus of attention, and a particular direction of energy. Enneagram Types<\/h3>

The Enneagram system defines nine core personality types by uncovering the underlying motivations, fears, and desires behind human behavior. Each type has its own unique worldview, focus of attention, and direction of energy. Rather than putting individuals into boxes, these types serve as a guide on the journey toward deeper self-understanding and understanding of others.\n

\nAs the International Association for Academic Enneagram Studies, we examine each Enneagram type through psychometric, phenomenological, and experimental methods. Our goal is to support the neurobiological correlations, developmental trajectories, and cultural expressions of these types with scientific findings.\n

\nBelow, you will find brief summaries of the nine Enneagram types. For more detailed information about each type, you can visit their individual pages:\n

\n\u2022 (Type 1) The Reformer\/Perfectionist:<\/b> Motivated by a desire to be right and honest. Principled, organized, and responsible.\n

\n\u2022 (Type 2) The Helper\/Giver:<\/b> Motivated by the need to be loved and appreciated, they focus on others. Helpful, generous, and compassionate.\n

\n\u2022 (Type 3) The Achiever\/Performer:<\/b> Driven by the desire to be valuable and successful. Hardworking, motivated, and image-conscious.\n

\n\u2022 (Type 5) The Investigator\/Observer:<\/b> Driven by the desire to be capable and understand the world. Wise, observant, and introspective.\n

\n\u2022 (Type 6) The Loyalist\/Questioner:<\/b> Motivated by the search for security and support. Responsible, skeptical, and prepared.\n
